Why become a mistress of seid? Because seid facilitates knowledge, and to receive this form of knowledge you must learn to give what knowledge you have. But to have something of value to teach, it must be practical and objective truth, found in reality. To spread unsubstantiated half-truth is to poison the folk way. If a cat washes only its face, a friend is on their way to pay a visit.

If a cat washes above its ears, it is going to rain.

If a cat stops washing to look at someone, they will receive a letter.
